BB Creams!!

Yes, it's been a while since my last post. I'm back and ready to shed a little light on all the madness with BB creams.

The truth is, BB creams aren't really that new. It's been in Asian markets for sometime now. It recently hit the United States with a resounding sonic boom! Ok..maybe that's a little much but yes, it's all the buzz.

The BB in BB cream stands for Beauty Balm or Blemish Balm. It's a multi-functional treatment makeup. Almost all of them address fine lines and wrinkles.  Right now there are a variety of which to choose from. Some lines only offer one to two shades that may look a little gray or ashy.  Which to me just doesn't make sense.

The solution and my favorite is the Bobbi Brown BB Cream. She has 5 skin correct shades.  It's lightweight with a little bit more coverage than her tinted moisturizer.  Great on normal to oily or oily skin types like myself.

I personally think that it works best with a light or oil control moisturizer applied first. A little goes a long way. Work a section at a time with fingers for a better application. Sponges or brush just soaks up this product. Remember, that it's a treatment so consistently using this product is going to yield better results.
